MEDICINE HAT, Alberta (CP) - Police say more charges could be laid in a triple homicide in which a 12-year-old girl and her boyfriend are accused of killing a couple and their son

What is going on in this world??? First of all, who lets their 12 year old daughter date a 23 year old. If I were a parent and my 12 year old daughter brought home a 23 year old dude to meet the Focker's I think I may be a little apprehensive....just a tad. First of all I would beat the @*&% out of him for being a pedophile. Then I would sit down and have a long chat with him about what his intensions were with my 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. I mean come on. What the hell could his reasoning be for dating a 12 year old. Sex is out of the question, or at least it should be. "She's very mature for her age" What, she acts like she's 14 instead of 12? I remember back when I was 12 the only thing I was concerned with was who all was playing road hockey after school. When I was 23, my mind was in totally different places if you know what I'm saying. Anyway other than the whole pedophile thingand STAT rape, what is happening to Canada? First the big biker massacre, and now 12 year olds are killing families. Don't release their names though because we need to protect our fucked up youth??? Something is just out of whack here. Anyway, enough about that rant. Today at work I get to take off 3 hours early from work to go and play pool, eat food, and drink beer. All while getting paid. I do however, have to drive home to London so i will not be indulging in the beer as much as I would like to. Now for your NHL update.

This is by far the best description of the gas prices today. Ridiculous. Its funny to see that gas prices rise on the weekend and then fall during the week. " There is no price gauging going on" Ya fucking right. Why is it that the richest companies in the world need more money? Is it because the government taxes fuel so much? I doubt it, I think the rich oil tycoons like being rich and they are doing everything in their power to stay that way. Speaking of taxes, what ever happened to that 1% GST drop that we were promised if Steven "George McFly" Harper was elected into office???

Apparently that isn't happening now either because " We won't see a difference". This country sucks. Why is it that we can't lower a flag to half massed when a soldier dies fighting for our freedom and peace, but we can lower it when a politician dies? WTF?!?!?! A guy that cheats and steals from the citizens of the country is honoured before somebody who gives his life to better ours......I call BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

So I finally did it! I joined back up to Good Life. how could I not? I pay $252 for a year's membership, and am reimbursed $186. This means I only pay $66 for a gym membership.....$66 To go with this membership I bought myself an ipod shuffle. Just the cheap one that hold 120 songs which is good enough for my 30 minute workouts....lol.. baby steps. I hope to go at least 3-4 times a week, and with the gym being directly across the street from work, it makes it super easy to go at lunch time for a workout.

<-----------------------------------By the way, isn't this guy a stud????

The 2006 Masters tournament has just come to a close with a 2nd Green Jacket going to Philly Micks!!! Congratulations to PhilMickelson on winning his 2nd Green Jacket today by 2 strokes over Tim Clark. Phil started the day leading the tournament and never looked back. Tiger had the chance to be in close contention but missed eagle attempts on to holes. It just makes me want to golf................................I can wait till Tuesday though when Kinger and I will be competing at a random course in Cambridge.

Have you ever heard of AWESOMETOWN???? Grohl had it on his blog a while back, and I have to admit that although it is very dumb......It is also very funny. I was recently checking out the dudes' website and came across a few funny vids that I recommend checking out. First of all is AwesomeTown. AwesomeTwon was a pilot put together for FOX and then MTV. Neither network picked up this show, but you can see some of the dudes' work on SNL nowadays. Secondly is a little rap song by the BINGBONG brothers.....too funny. And last but not least is a collections of MP3s that made by the boys of LonelyIsland

If you don't have a sense of humour, then don't bother checking them out. If you do, and are in the mood for a laugh then be my guest!

Another great time killer at work is the Coca-Cola Chill. This little web based DJ program is pretty cool to mess around with. It allows you to choose a beat, throw in some random sayings, and scratch it all up. You can find the Chill here

I will leave you today with the Top Ten worst album covers of all time. Found on the site that gives the top 100.

10
Night Rocker

David Hasselhoff

Night Rocker (1985)
The Age of Hasselhoff begins. Gentlemen, wring out your panties.
9

Manowar

Into Glory Ride (1983)

8
Take Me Home

Cher

Take Me Home (1979)
Having declared war on Kate Bush, Cher slaughters the pirate army and defiles the bodies of Manowar before deftly reapplying her tan.
7
HIStory: Past, Present and Future

Michael Jackson

HIStory: Past, Present and Future (1995) [Compilation]
Forget Kenny Loggins. Forget Yanni. This is the most pompous album cover in rock history.

Michael: "Bow down before me!"
McCauley: "But my knees still hurt!"
6
Unfinished Music No. 1 - Two Virgins

John Lennon & Yoko Ono

Unfinished Music No. 1 - Two Virgins (1968)
You could call this cover art a unique expression of freedom. But since the music is total shit, it's just a REALLY bad decision.
5
Lie

Charles Manson

Lie (1969)
Charles Manson wanted to follow in Joan Baez's footsteps. Luckily, Joan outran the fucker.
4

2
Virgin Killer [original cover prohibited at RYM]

Scorpions

Virgin Killer [original cover prohibited at RYM] (1976)
All you need to know is that the uncensored version of this cover depicts a nude prepubescent girl with what appears to be a flash of light emitting from her vagina.

Lovesexy

Prince

Lovesexy (1988)
This is the uncensored cover.

Good Day!

So another weekend shift at good old RIMjob. Weekend days are slow because not too many people are working, but weekend nights are just about 10 x worse. So it looks like by this time next summer I will be cruising around on one of these babies. Nothing is definite as of yet but my brother and I are negotiating a deal with eachother that will suit both Parties. I can't wait!!!

In other news, its looking more and more like I will be watching any team but the Leafs in the playoffs this year as they lost to te Bruins in a shootout last night. 1 point needed to be 2 and they couldn't pull it off. It hurts really, but it backs up the clean house theory that I have.

So if you're at work reading this and you have a little time on your hands, check out these links that have killed a bit of time for me. Some are just stupid, and funny while others are pure genius..

Anyway, I'll be back soon with some more great time wasters.... Peace out

So this is an idea of how I feel. Workin the 6 pm - 6 am shift has beaten the shit out of me...Lol. Its not too bad but at about 2 O'clock you hit a wall. A concrete wall thats main purpose is to knock you the $%^@ out. Its 2:48 in the am right now and I have just awoken from a half hour nap which really didn't help. I don't know if i slep, and don't know what time i went in our cme out of the "first aid" aka "nap" room...lol. Anyway, enough about that.

To my second topic of today......The Leafs. So it looks as though I have to pick another team to cheer for this year in the playoffs. That team looks as though its going to be the Calgary Flames. I think this would be a good year for the Leafs to do up the whole "rebuilding" stage that teams go through every couple years. Only I think they should call it the dismantling stage. Clean house from top to bottom keeping only McCabe, Kaberle and kids like Stajan and Wellwood. So this blog doesn't make too much sense tonight because I think I'm half asleep so I will leave you with a funny pic......

Monday, April 03, 2006

So I decided to change things up a little bit. Tonight is my first night shift at RIMjob. 6pm to 6 am......It is now 2:26 am. I think I'm asleep. I'm not 100% sure about it but I think I am. Its a little wierd because it is super busy during the day, but night time is when the tunes are turned on and your going at a pace much slower because there are no emails or phone calls piling up. Anyways, Saturday marked the 26th year of the Cochrane. Happy birthday to me. Thanks for all the kids who put aside a couple hours to come and celebrate with me. To those of you who had better things to do, fuck ya. Pardon the frizzench. Anyway, the first 2 rounds of golf have been played this season and I must say not one bad outting. 94 for the first round and 88 for the second. This marks the first time that I have broken 100. Let alone 90. Good times. I look forward to beating Felker repeatedly this year. Bring it Felks...Poppa's got brand new shoes! So anyway, I am slowly going cross-eyed and am gonna head out for a small nap......Check back soon because I plan to keep updating
